Welcome to
The Grenadine Islands!
About The Grenadines
St Vincent is the biggest island in the St Vincent & The Grenadines archipelago, consisting of 32 islands, most of which are uninhabited. The island has a mountainous terrain with dense rainforests and black sand beaches. As an active volcano island, it has limited flat ground, and its capital, Kingstown, is a bustling town with cobblestone streets. The Soufriere Volcano is around 4,049 ft tall and one side of the island has a rough coastline while the other side boasts numerous beaches and bays. A majority of the beaches on the island, around 95%, have black sand.
The overall land area of St Vincent & The Grenadines measures a little over 150 square miles, with St Vincent covering 132 square miles of that area. This gives an indication of how small the other islands are in comparison. Out of the 32 islands in the Grenadines, only nine are inhabited, including Bequia, Canouan, Mayreau, Mustique, Palm Island, Petit St Vincent, Union Island, and Young Island, in addition to St Vincent. Canouan is the only island in the Grenadines with a golf course and high-end villas, which are exceptional.
