Welcome to Jamaica!

One of the most visited islands in the Caribbean is Jamaica. The island’s overall land area is 4,244 square miles, and it is 51 miles wide at its widest point. It extends from Morant Point in the east to Negril in the west. Jamaica, which has a height of 7,402 feet at its highest point, is a kaleidoscope of beauty, making it the most valuable gem in the Caribbean. The appeal of the place keeps newcomers coming back.

Why Visit Jamaica

Jamaica is one of the friendliest islands in the Caribbean… Jamaicans seem to be always smiling, the white sand beaches are gorgeous, and the cuisine is delicious.

All-inclusive resorts are a great value, as are luxury hotels, and you can party until dawn in the main tourist locations. In the Montego Bay region, there are four excellent Jamaican golf courses where you may play golf.

While in Jamaica

A visit to the Pelican Bar is a must-do if you visit the Westmoreland parish of Jamaica, it’s a fun experience. To reach the rickety bar in the sea which has been constructed from driftwood you’ll have to drive or get a taxi to the nearest beach and get a boat out with a local skipper. Your hotel will be able to give you instructions on the bar’s location and how to get there.

Visit the Blue Hole, hidden in the Ocho Rios hills – the falls are not commercialized and it’s a serene haven if you want to get away from the bustling tourist area below.
